Academic Success and College Coaching
Transitioning from high school to college is a significant milestone in your child’s journey. Academic Success and College Coaching services are offered to high school and college students before or during their college years. These services boost long-term success and support students as they earn a degree, become independent, and succeed.
Services are offered in person, over the phone, or through video chat.
With over 15 years of higher education experience, I have the knowledge and expertise to help your child navigate all aspects of college life. Whether registering for classes, identifying top professors, choosing a study abroad or internship program, or navigating financial aid, I can help.
Academic Success services provide the practical strategies and tools your student needs to succeed in their classes and beyond. Collegiate Success offers support for many academic challenges, including:

Coaching sessions are individualized and tailored to your child’s needs and schedule.
Coaching sessions are weekly for 30 minutes to 1 hour, as needed.
Each session includes a coaching session plan at the start of the coaching process and a follow-up email with tips and action items.
Additionally, each session consists of a fifteen-minute follow-up phone call to check in on student progress and make changes to strategies if necessary.
Career Planning
Career planning begins long before graduation. Collegiate Success works with students to identify internships, research, activities, and job opportunities during and after college.
Career coaching sessions are customized to fit your personality and career goals and may include assessments, strategy worksheets, and targeted research to help you clarify your long-term career goals.
Services includes:
Resume & Cover Letter Review: A professional from Collegiate Success will review your resume or cover letter for errors and suggest improvements that will make it more effective at getting you interviews.
Resume and Cover Letter Writing: A professional from Collegiate Success will provide individual support in developing a resume and other professional correspondence that best reflects the student’s strengths.
Interview Preparation: A professional from Collegiate Success will work with you to prepare for an upcoming interview by practicing common behavioral questions and providing feedback on how well you performed in mock interviews.
Add-ons: Add-ons include editing your LinkedIn profile or creating a new LinkedIn profile from scratch, as well as assistance with updating your resume or cover letter after every job search.
